PREP Help Needed:

  • Sunday Preschool Teachers – These volunteers conduct weekly, scripture-based lessons and activities for children ages 3-6 while their parents attend the 10 AM Mass. Sessions take place from 10-11 AM in the SMS cafeteria. Activities may include scripture readings, coloring pages, stories, songs, videos, and games, all centered around the Gospel lesson for the day. All volunteers are arranged on a rotating schedule. No experience is necessary, just energy and enthusiasm, a love for children, and a devotion to the Faith.
  • Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) – Every Sunday during the 10 AM Mass, the children in the congregation are invited to follow a teacher to the Antioch Annex (lower level of the church) for a brief “breaking open of the Word.” Children from preschool to 4th grade are given the opportunity to hear and reflect on the scriptures in a simpler, more kid-friendly manner. The CLOW only takes a few minutes, after which the children are returned to church to continue their participation in the Liturgy. All volunteers will be arranged on a rotating schedule.

If you are able to help out, please contact Mary Anne Monroe, Director of Religious Education, at (610)664-3770 ext. 16 or at PREP@ Thank you!
