Hospital Visitation:

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion participate in the regional ministries program at Lankenau Hospital on the first Sunday of every month.  As time permits, visits will be made to our parishioners in other hospitals.  If any member of your family is hospitalized please notify the rectory so that a visit can be arranged.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA):

The process whereby baptized or unbaptized adults who consciously and freely seek full participating membership in the Roman Catholic Church are received into our faith community.  The rites not only include the celebration of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, but also all the rites belonging to the catechumenate, or the period of formation and preparation.  The initiation of adults is a gradual process meant to include the parish community.  Adult Catholics who want to grow in their knowledge of the faith are also welcome. Contact the Pastor at 610-664-3770 X12.

Children’s Catechumenate:

Any child who is not baptized by the age of 7 follows the adult reception of sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion.  Saint Margaret Parish provides for the sacramental preparation for children of catechetical age who have not celebrated the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, or Confirmation. For further information, please contact the Religious Education Office 610-664-3770 X16.

Requests for Eligibility Certificates:

The role of a sponsor is primarily a spiritual role to model a Christian life for the child. A parishioner requesting an eligibility certificate must be a registered, participating member of St. Margaret Parish, a practicing Catholic in good standing (not living in violation of the church laws), at least 16 years of age and have received the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist). Please call the rectory for an appointment.
