The Habitat for Humanity ReStore truck will be in St. Margret’s School parking lot to accept donations to their ReStore facility in South Philadelphia.

The ReStore is Habitat’s discount home improvement store.  They sell new and gently-used furniture, appliances, building supplies, home goods and more.  Habitat uses 100% of ReStore profits to build and repair homes in for low-income families in Philadelphia.  The ReStore is open to the public.

Items Accepted

Furniture:  Overall excellent condition.  Upholstery must be clean, free of stains, not worn, torn or damaged

Appliances: Refrigerators, ranges, range hoods, washing machines, dryers, furnaces, kitchen appliances.  Must be less than 10 years old, clean and in working condition, slight scratch/dent okay. Must have all parts/accessories.

Cabinets:  Must have all doors & drawers, doors must be attached, standard sizes.  

Household Goods:  Kitchen items, house décor, art, brick-a-brack  

Air Conditioning & Heating Units:  Whole house or window models.

Lighting:  Floor and table lamps, ceiling fans, light fixtures

Carpet:  Brand-new ONLY.  Must be 8’x10’ or larger

Hardware:  Door & cabinet knobs, hinges, locks, fasteners

Tools:  Hand or power tools, in good working condition with all parts, cords, batteries

Electronics:  TVs, DVD, CD, record players, radios in good working condition with all parts, cords, batteries

Tax Deduction Information

Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  We will provide you with a receipt for tax deduction purposes, as well as an acknowledgement letter with our tax exempt status and tax ID (42-1580163).
