Advocacy for our nation
A new Congress has taken office, which means it’s an important time for Catholics to lift our voices on the issues important to our Church. With the debate on-going about the budget, and negotiations for our fiscal year 2020 federal budget beginning in February, we must continue to lift our voices in support of migrants, refugees and the poor.

You can tell the health of a nation by the generosity of its foreign assistance. Foreign assistance promotes leadership and is a strategic, economic and moral imperative for the United States. In Rwanda, Catholic Relief Services and USAID are helping children thrive by supporting regular nutritional screening of almost 200,000 children, ensuring they are hitting their growth milestones, signaling that they are well-nourished and thriving. Click here today to send a message to urge this new Congress to protect foreign aid and support the life-saving programs that reduce hunger, provide shelter and create opportunities for the future.
