St. Margaret Parish offers numerous opportunities dedicated to providing them the tools to foster excitement for, knowledge of, and a deeper and more personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Led by the Adult Faith Formation Team, both regular opportunities and entire series are created and implemented for adults and include the following:
Regular Faith Formation
Bible Study: Held Tuesday mornings from 9:00-10:30 in the Antioch Annex, structure programs provide education on specific books or topics of the Bible. This ministry will be studying the Letters to the Hebrews beginning in the fall of 2018.
Lectio Divina: Held after the Saturday Morning 8:00 AM Mass in the Antioch Annex, Lectio Divina provides opportunities to prayerfully grow in communion with God with three reflective readings of the Gospel for the coming Sunday. Starts with prayer and concludes with an “Our Father.” All are welcome.
Men’s Group: Men of St. Margaret Parish gather on Thursday mornings for Mass, breakfast, and prayer to explore and experience God over the week while organically forming community. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
Morning Prayer: follows the Readings of the Divine Office and occurs after daily Mass in the Church
Women’s Group: Small women’s faith sharing group meets weekly at times convenient to participants. They follow a simple and consistent format that requires no preparation but invites participants to be aware of God moving in their lives during the week. Participants experience the support of the group and encouragement to grow in their relationship with God.
Fall Series on the Eucharist
Bishop Robert Barron’s Series “The Mass“: Walk through the Liturgy with Bishop Barron and be transformed through insights on this most privileged and intimate encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ. See how the Mass brings us out of the fallen world and into the heavenly realm and how it resonates with a call from God and a response from his people, the Church, and, most importantly, how we are intimately joined with the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus through the Holy Eucharist.
