40 Hours Devotion 2018

Mark your calendars now for a very special Forty Hours Devotion on the three evenings of Sunday, November 18 through Tuesday, November 20 at 7:00 PM each night, consisting of Benediction, Eucharistic Adoration, sacred music and spiritual reflections on “The People of God Empowered by the Eucharist to Grow in Faith and Face Any Challenge” by this year’s homilist, Father Daniel Joyce, S.J.

Father Joyce serves at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia as the Executive Director of Mission Programs and as the Director of the Alliance of Catholic Education at Saint Joseph’s University Education Fellows Program.   In 1991 Father Joyce entered the Society of Jesus and was ordained to the priesthood in 2001.  Dan has been an educator for nearly 30 years teaching in a wide variety of cross-cultural contexts and is currently an adjunct Professor of Theology at Saint Joseph’s University.  He has been involved in working with communities on educational and economic development issues in cities throughout the U.S. and in Central America.

Plan on three evenings that challenge us to seek the full depth of the Eucharist as a constant source of God’s grace for growth in our faith and to thrive amidst the challenges we face today.  Please plan to join us for this year’s Forty Hours Devotion beginning on Sunday evening, November 18, at 7:00 PM.
